This Come on UP sharehouse embraces the Japanese concept of “wa” (harmony). We want everyone to feel at peace and to get along with each other. You will feel like you went back in time when you enter the sharehouse. As you walk in there is an open area with tatami mats. You can bask in the sunlight peeking through from the windows. You can talk with your friends or watch TV together on the sofa or zabuton (floor cushions). Housemates can also sit around the table and play games or share a few drinks and get to know each other. of space for cooking. No need to worry about bumping into anyone while you cook. Other than the bathroom, the rest of the floors are wood. If you would like some time for yourself, you can feel serene in your own room. Like the rest of the house, it is in traditional Japanese style.
