There are two downtown areas of similar sizes at north side and south side of Otsuka station. Although the streets are quite busy, this town has calmer atmosphere comparing to Ikebukuro and Sugamo which are next stations. It is within easy walking distance to Ikebukuro. Very convenient location for transportation as you can use Yamanote line and Todenarakawa line! There are many residents who lived this area for a long time. You can feel nostalgic and retro feel of“Showa” era somehow. There are department store in front of the station, so it’s very convenient for shopping. There are supermark
